Moving to the Griffith College Conference Centre on South Circular Road, Dublin VegFest 2016 aims to accommodate the increased number of visitors expected to attend this year's event. Last year’s inaugural event attracted over 1,200 people.
VegFest includes a number of international expert speakers and stars of the vegan world, award winners and best lists nominees featured on national and international mainstream media, such as:
- Emily Barwick Moran: Bite Size Vegan – hugely popular YouTube vlogger, author and speaker
- Fiona Oakes: elite athlete runner who holds no less than three Guinness world records and is the fastest woman to have run a marathon on each continent as well as having broken the event course record at the North Pole Marathon and Antarctic Ice Marathon
- Ciara Norton: Vegan Mammy – Instagrammer and blogger
- Dr Ailis Brosnan – director of Your Healthy Living Coach
